The patient journey matters and we should be thinking beyond the Cath lab. Doing more for STEMI starts in the Cath lab to make an impact. #CompleteReperfusion
Dr. Rajiv Jauhar @stendoc1 shares his approach to complete #STEMI care.
“As Interventional Cardiologists, we aren’t in a silo, there’s a continuum of care—from the time the patient arrives in our Cath lab to the time they go to heart failure”
As a physician, do you agree or disagree? What’s your approach to STEMI care?

@JimCosta_ More on o-line than Goff. Hard to complete passes with defenders in your face every snap. I blame the play calls. Need quick slants called. Not plays that take 4-5 seconds to develop.
@NFL_DovKleiman More about losing Ragnow and Zeitler on O-Line than an offensive coordinator. QB’s need time and we didn’t set Goff up for success today with quick slants and dump down passes to offset the rush. He held the ball too long.
Important work by Andreas schaefer & team, providing complete epicardial revascularization is one part of care, improving microvascular obstruction is another!

@EM_RESUS I performed it on my dad about 4 years ago for about 20 minutes. Most difficult and exhausting thing I’ve ever experienced. He survived and had no complications.
