Sometimes comical, sometimes serious. Either way, he means it. Retired but engaged. Loves God, loves wife, and his children. Yearns to honor his lineage.
@CatholicVote@FoxNews Always amazed at how a church official, a supposedly dedicated and learned soul, cannot simply pray for the redemption of a pro-death supporter. When did folks like the Cardinal forget that God allows an evil in the hopes that such wickedness produce conversion and atonement?
@KennethLFisher@nypost We older guys need to provide each other with zippier article headlines, headers that resonate with the culture or the films and books of our time: "Doctor Strange Loan: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Debt Bomb"
@bronwenmcshea Don't mean to sound fascistic or anything but don't poll workers in your area wear badges? It might be a good idea to get names off of a crew like that.
1/6 Elon Musk’s Starlink offered FREE, perpetual high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools in South Africa—a move that could transform education for 2.4 million disadvantaged children. But it’s currently being blocked. Here is why. 🧵
You should never have to choose between doing your job and telling the truth.
I walked away from a career I loved because I couldn’t stay silent about what was happening to our country.
Meanwhile, under the Walz-Flanagan administration, state workers who tried to expose fraud were pressured to keep quiet.
I chose to speak up, and I’ll make sure Minnesotans never have to fear doing the same.
Because alarmists are frustrated over a dismal Atlantic hurricane season, they are doubling down on repeated climate misinformation. Even today, there are TWO climate alarmist AP (always propaganda) articles in today's paper, where the real story is the part they never say.
This collapse is happening in Portland, Seattle, and other cities. These places haven't recovered from the COVID era, which gave us lockdowns, the George Floyd riots, and the de facto legalization of drug-and-crime-generating homeless encampments. A policy disaster.
Ken Paxton has values that Cornyn and Talarico would never have the guts to perform. Also why Adam Kinzinger, Mark Cuban and the Bush family supporting Talarico is bad for children. They should be ashamed and at least mocked.

"The internet is on fire with criticism of the 12 bishops who prayed over President Trump in the Oval Office.
Let me remind everyone that bishops are priests and pastors and should not have to apologize for praying over presidents. This assault on public prayer is based on a secular vision of life—not the essential evangelization required by the Gospel.
Not only should we give them the space to be evaluated outside the secular political lens, they should give that grace to themselves in the face of this unwarranted criticism.
“As I prayed about, I thought that this is what Catholics do. We pray for people,” said Archbishop James Golka. “No matter whether we agree or disagree on anything, we always pray for our country and leaders.”
Imagine the church restricting who it could dialogue with or preach to: it would be a a history without Ambrose preaching to Theodosius; without John Paul II converting General Wojciech Jaruzelski on his death bed; without Fr. Hugh O’Flaherty befriending Nazi Herbert Kappler in prison.
The right and duty to witness to figures in authority dates back to the time of Caesar.
Those men all did many things worse by orders of magnitude than this leader, who has also done some things exceptionally well, whatever the honest criticism of some of his policies are.
I also question the selective outrage potentially at work here. Do honest Catholics believe this outrage would exist for praying over Obama, Biden, or even George W.?
These men were there as priests and they prayed as priests do. That is a win for the faith, no matter the man in the presidential chair.
Archbishop Golka was right. This IS what Catholics do."

Tips for reporters on how to interview Abdul:
1) You ask the Qs. He doesn’t.
2) When he asks you a Q, ignore him. Ask your Q again.
3) When he says, “That’s not the Q, the Q is” ignore him. Ask your Q again.
4) When he doesn’t answer, ask him why he refuses to answer.
Do your damn job!
Are they lying or just stupid? Climate hoaxers at Colorado State University blame the retreat of the Andrews Glacier (12 feet this year) on emissions. But the closest temperature station (2.5 miles away at Bear Lake) shows no correlation between emissions and warming.
