@YellowstoneNPS Took my bf (now husband) to the Grand Canyon during off-season in November years ago because I insisted he see it. We got in the car and there was a massive bull elk- we thought it was a statue. It was taller than the single level hotel. AWESOME. Core memory. Beautiful animal.
