🚨 PUPPY STARVED UNTIL SHE COLLAPSED - CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY

Nine-month-old Lola was so severely emaciated she collapsed and had to be put to sleep. Her owner failed to provide adequate food or veterinary care.

Kieran Dunkley, 21, from Birmingham, was already serving time at HMP Brinsford for breaching a sexual harm prevention order when he was sentenced for cruelty to two dogs.

Vets found Lola and two-year-old Reggie with visible bones and no body fat. Reggie also had an untreated ear infection and pressure sores on his hind legs.

Dunkley admitted three animal welfare offences. On 23 September, he received six additional months in prison, a £350 fine and a 10-year ban on keeping animals.

Lola could not be saved.

Thankfully, Reggie was signed over to the RSPCA and has since been rehomed.

Two dogs suffered because their basic needs were neglected. One lost her life. The other has finally been given a chance at a better one.

Rosie is struggling in kennels - she’s started to put the brakes on and refuse to come back into her kennel which is just heartbreaking, but who can blame her - she shouldn’t be homeless at her age and be having to go into a kennel. She is safe with us, but desperately unhappy and we won’t sit back and let her struggle.
We URGENTLY need a foster home for Rosie ideally with a view to adoption (but not essential).
Rosie needs a quieter home where she will get plenty of company, older children upwards, no cats, possibly a very calm smaller older dog as she just ignores dogs . The only time we’ve heard her bark is at a horse - she likes to tell them that she might only be small but she is a terrier after all .

🚨 HUNTER VOWS TO KILL YELLOWSTONE’S OLDEST WOLF — HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP STOP IT

Yellowstone’s extraordinary 12-year-old wolf 1090F has survived brutal winters, rival packs, injuries and everything nature has thrown at her.

Now she could be killed simply for crossing an invisible line drawn by humans.

1090F is one of the oldest wolves ever recorded in Yellowstone and Wyoming and a celebrated member of the historic Mollie’s Pack — whose story stretches back to the restoration of wolves to Yellowstone in 1995.

But Wyoming’s wolf hunting season in Wolf Hunt Area 1 opens SEPTEMBER 15.

And one hunter has made his intentions very clear.

Big Piney-area outdoorsman Mitch Gilliam told Cowboy State Daily:

“I plan to be there on Sept. 15.”

And when specifically asked about 1090F, he said:

“If I see her, I’ll harvest her.”

Gilliam even acknowledges what an extraordinary animal she is, saying that surviving to 12 means she is “obviously a smart wolf.”

But he argues that because she’s old and declining, perhaps shooting her would be preferable to allowing her eventually to starve or be killed by another wolf pack.

He also dismisses the emotional connection people have developed with Yellowstone’s famous wolves:

“It’s not a cartoon character; it’s a wild wolf.”

Gilliam has previously publicly defended Wyoming’s wolf-management policies and advocated removing federal Endangered Species Act protections for wolves across the Lower 48.

He also organised a counter-demonstration against protesters campaigning over the infamous Cody Roberts wolf case and said he had subsequently become friends with Roberts.

Now Gilliam says he intends to hunt in the region where Mollie’s Pack has been travelling.

And he isn’t the only one.

A Nevada social-media account called Kyri Ranch has also publicly targeted 1090F, reportedly declaring:

“The matriarch 1090F is going down on the 15th of September.”

Thankfully, most of Mollie’s Pack has now returned inside Yellowstone. But wildlife managers warn that these wolves could cross the park boundary again.

The moment 1090F crosses that invisible line during the hunting season, she becomes vulnerable.

🚨 SO WHAT CAN WE ACTUALLY DO?

The Wyoming Game & Fish Commission is the wildlife policy-making authority in Wyoming, and campaigners are demanding an emergency temporary closure of Wolf Hunt Area 1.

1090F has survived 12 years in one of the toughest environments on Earth.

She deserves the chance to live out whatever time she has left naturally.

On the way back to the clinic she went limp and unresponsive two minutes from the door.

Epi. IV steroids. A pack on her back. A load of IV Benadryl. She is home and sleeping.

That is a severe allergic reaction. It is not “rare” if it is your animal on the seat next to you. 😢

“This is what a severe allergic reaction to a rabies vaccine looks like. Both pups had shots today. We got home from the vet and 15 minutes after we got home, Matilda started to swell. I hopped in the car to rush her back up to the office and she went totally limp and unresponsive about 2 minutes away. After some epi, IV steroids, a water pack injection on her back, and a butt load of IV Benadryl, she is finally back home and resting.”

Osito tiene casi 20 años. Es un perrito viejito, social y noble que hoy enfrenta la peor de las injusticias: ha sido sentenciado a muerte en Mérida, Yucatán.

Durante mucho tiempo soportó en silencio el maltrato de una persona que constantemente lo provocaba con una escoba y le tiraba palazos. Osito aguantó hasta que un día, en un acto desesperado de defensa, lanzó una mordida. Sin analizar el contexto de maltrato previo ni la provocación, la decisión fue rápida y cruel: quitarle la vida.

Él no es un perro agresivo. Los mismos policías que acudieron al reporte pudieron acariciarlo sin problema. Al subirlo a la patrulla, Osito solo buscaba jugar con ellos, intentando demostrar que no es malo y que no quiere hacer daño a nadie.

Hoy sus horas están contadas. Sus seres queridos ya se han despedido de él con un último beso, pero aún podemos alzar la voz por él. Un perrito de la tercera edad que solo actuó por instinto ante la agresión constante no merece terminar así.
