It’s not as easy as putting in some beds and calling some nurses. There had to be portable x rays, a full blown pharmacy, IT systems, robust O2 systems, etc; it wasn’t ready then but WAS used later

@RealPetrosS @NYGovCuomo You do realize we had to move patients out of hospitals because they were overloaded, ppl died in waiting rooms. The NH’s could deny transfer, and if they accepted they kept the recovering patients in their own areas. FL did the EXACT same thing with emergency orders.

Also, we had no choice but to put recovering patients into NH’s, there was NOWHERE else for them to go while people died in ER waiting rooms. It’s easy to judge decisions you know nothing about.

@JimTeresco @ski_vermont Most people just don’t come here and only ski. They use the lodges, eat at restaurants, stop at shops, go in gas stations, and grab groceries. That is the risk with people crossing the border after we have maintained the virus better than any other state.
