@XposeTrophyHunt Laika and Albert II, the first monkey in space, were sadly betrayed by humans. So called "superior" intelligence in a species with the physical ability to dominate other beings, paired with unimaginable arrogance makes them a danger to all. RIP Laika and Albert II.💔
🐕 Hope 🐕
By chance, our Laura & Bobo popped to Lidl for some cooking oil...
Hope was found greeting all the cars driving in. 🙏🥺
She has a very faint hairline fracture & the vet ordered rest & calcium for our beautiful & friendly girl. She is safe now! 🥰

67 years ago, Laika was launched into space, she was captured as a stray off the streets of Moscow, about 3 years old. She survived for aprox 7 hours dying in agony & fear. We could have taken a different path. Sorry, humanity failed you Laika. 💔🙏🏻
This poor starving, dehydrated 90g baby is Libby, she’s suffered so much in her short life. Her mouth caked in mud & her tiny frail body covered in fly strike. The finders were mowing their lawn, thank god they saw Libby in the long grass. Please always check b4 mowing/strimming

German Shepherd Crossbreeds aged 1.
This lovely pair of girls are looking for a quiet loving home where they can relax, play and unwind!
They love being outside in the sunshine, and adore one another, so a secure garden where they can play and spend time together is a must for them!
They are unbothered by the presence of other dogs, and are happy to walk with friendly canine companions, however they would preferably be the only dogs in the home as to not overwhelm them.
They are both nervous girls and they rely on each other for comfort, so a willing and gentle home with adults only is what they require.

A story that shows the power of Twitter…
This is Tiny a very small and older street dog who was terrified of people her whole life.
She got into big trouble health wise about a year ago.
Its been a battle for 6 weeks but we’ve managed to turn Tiny’s life around (1/10) 🧵
@ziggypopdlh@Icelandtourism@IcelandUN Well said 👏👏Every tourist should boycott Iceland until they stop slaughtering whales. It is shameful & indefensible.
June 2024: Iceland issued license for 128 fin whales to be killed.
Some whales were recorded by onboard monitors as suffering for two hours before they died.
Where are all the butterflies?
Years of habitat destruction, climate breakdown and pesticide use have taken their toll. If we're to restore nature and save our butterflies and moths we must act now.

A young polar bear lies dead. Shot by Iceland's police.
This desperately hungry bear's extraordinary journey from Greenland ended when lured by food left out in the trash.
Iceland says it's cheaper to shoot polar bears than to relocate them.

TIGER IS GONE...🌈
Dumped at #NYCACC to die, after 8 yrs of love & loyalty!
I'm sure he expected them to come back for him, but of course they didn't😔
I hope they see this & are ashamed!😡
RIP TIGER 😢💔🌈
We're so sorry 😭😭😭
Milo, a gentle rescue dog from South Africa, has been sentenced to 120 days of quarantine in this UK facility. Standard procedure for a simple microchip malfunction, despite being fully vaccinated and healthy.
No walks, no comfort, no adequate shelter. What would you do if this was your pet? Milo is not the only one.
I’m calling on DEFRA to do the right thing here: free Milo, fix this awful facility, and review the quarantine rules.
Animal cruelty is never acceptable 🐶😢🐾

The work takes place almost exclusively during the night, a large part of bird trapping is carried out by criminal gangs.
However, we are optimistic that the effort will be worthwhile, and that one-day bird trapping will also disappear in Cyprus.
Wish us luck! 🫡💚🕊️

However, the #nets and #limesticks used are completely non-selective trapping methods and we have already documented and rescued almost 160 different species in just the last few years!
Owls, Beeeaters, Hedgehogs, Reptiles to name but just a few …

⚠️🗣️ Start of our bird protection camp in #Cyprus!
Since the last few days, CABS teams have begun working in Cyprus again to take action against illegal bird trapping.
In contrast to spring, migratory bird poaching is much more difficult to curb during the autumn.
For anyone interested in learning about the countless benefits of a hedge when it comes to wildlife, here’s a video I made about them and their importance 👇

It’s that time of year again - tractors all over the land will take to flailing vital food sources in the form of berries along thousands of miles of hedgerows. PLEASE, if you are a landowner or know someone who is, wait until Feb/March & leave nature’s larder for #wildlife 🙏🍒
