@HonestReporting@AP Hard to take complaints seriously when the complainer thinks such an anodyne headline is misleading and, more importantly, doesn’t link to the article. Happens a lot and you don’t persuade anyone.
@DavidAFrench If you see an extraordinarily corrupt president whom you believe is tearing down our democracy and a Congress comical in its aversion to checking even the most blatant parts, does that make the calculus a little different? They gutlessly caved on the weaponization fund ban!
@HonestReporting@nytimes You’d get a a more sympathetic audience if you linked to the article. Serious readers want to see the whole piece before sharing your outrage.
@bendreyfuss Like last year, you remark on hot DC weather in the middle of a beautiful, low-humidity stretch. I don’t get it. Will you stick around when it actually gets wretched?
@seuntomas@JonahDispatch He chooses to do a podcast with Podhoretz. From the bits I’ve listened to, it leans into benign cultural stuff for the most part. But I do wonder sometimes if Goldberg reflects on his long friendship with Podhoretz with any frequency. But perhaps I give JG to much credit.
@davidfrum How much have you read on the history of the group he volunteered with, how it was viewed by the U.S. when he volunteered, and what he actually did? Because you seem remarkably, uncharacteristically incurious once there’s a chance to accuse someone of being anti Israel/semitic.
@JamesJimmmy69@Seanfucious Isn’t that why some artists who’d agreed to perform pulled out? They thought it would would be apolitical and learned they were wrong.
@beyondreasdoubt How do you feel about the artists who intended to participate but pulled out when it became evident to them that it wasn’t going to be a nonpartisan event?
@davidfrum I don’t agree that there was an effort at genocide, based on what I’ve seen and understand, but your belief that all who do are liars diminishes your credibility. BTW, your absolute pronouncements abt hunger/famine in Gaza put you in the same bucket of people you warn about.
@BOptimist1973@SarahLongwell25@AccountableGOP It’d help those who want accuracy but don’t read closely a bit but it doesn’t really stop the posters misrepresenting. So many are pretty audacious.
