I've seen more developer types be wrong about Bitcoin than you can believe. Most would have laughed you out of the room if you suggested $10,000 per BTC, let alone $100,000. Most thought Bitcoin would be dead by now. Some still think failure is right around the corner.

Here is a thought. Maybe developers aren't omniscient gods like we prop them up to be.
