@anisenot@Romy_Holland@ebenwert this has been true for both of my children. Both have milk protein intolerance and my second also dislikes egg.
Every doctor thinks it’s just colic. They need to see blood in the urine before they’ll make a diagnosis.
@rakishromantic@CartoonsHateHer aria is also in the comments saying that women of bmi 18 with f cups exist and are just hot girls and that asian woman are probably still healthy at a bmi of 17
@herandrews@LeahLibresco The summary of her statement is not accurate. She said she wants to make it better for other women and families so that it never happens again. This follows from that fact that she perhaps found her treatment inadequate, this has nothing to do with feminism
@ThymeToBeBorn I think the issue is that you can actually just leave. I say this as someone who got into fights growing up because I’m sensitive to rejection, also one time as an adult. It never felt justified after the fact. Obviously difficult to do as siblings of course
@CuriousBunnie12 not here to scare you but my doctor did a cervical check at 37 weeks and my water broke that night. Not a sweep btw just a peek. Some people are sensitive. I would wait until you’re ready to have the baby
@parasociality I think it also has to do with money becoming untethered from labor at least at the top. Tech prints money like nothing else. A cardiac surgeon making less money than a guy working from home in his pajamas feels off, maybe ai will fix this
Deciding whether or not I want a third child is such an immense power that it’s almost intoxicating.
Just casually exercising free will over a metaphysical cleft in the universe, over two utterly different lives for me, two different worlds for everyone, a human existing or not.
@cybelethebest yes but it’s specific to her cultural background, they value education over other signifiers. This is pertaining to her parents obviously I make no claims over Usha’s motivations.
Oh, sweetheart, I wish I did.
The pathologizing of men by the same psycho-social circle really bothers me. It's yet another way of 'offloading' the pressure to uphold standards. Everything is the fault of mental illness...of the patriarchy...of one's parents and traumatic childhood.
It is a terrible turn that divides people while making certain groups dependent on low-level psychologists and counselors. There's this trend called The Walk-Away Wife that has women leaving their decent marriages, on the advice of therapists, and practicing 'self-care'. In all but rare/abuse cases, I think it's a net negative.
I will tell you one thing the men I admire do, and that's frame things consistently in terms of personal responsibility and optimism and a sense that people have control over their lives. I wish I could be more specific, but the psychology mill is disempowering women with this bullshit and the only way to show them that seems to be to live differently and well.
I'm sorry if that feels vague. I wish a man would jump in here and say what I mean.
Best to you and I'm touched that you asked. ❤️
