Today, we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything in service to this country.
No words are quite enough. Just gratitude and remembrance.
Thank you to the families who carry this loss every day, not just today.
🚨 NOW: SecWar Pete Hegseth goes HARD against Rep. Thomas Massie while campaigning in Kentucky
“At some point, being against everything becomes an excuse for accomplishing NOTHING.”
“At some point, constant obstruction is not leadership, it's just commentary. It's obstruction.”
“President Trump does not need more people in Washington who are trying to make a point, especially from his own party.”
“He needs people willing to help him win, to vote with him when it matters the most. And too often, Massie is acting like his job is to stand apart from the movement that President Trump leads instead of strengthening it.”
“When President Trump needs backup, Massie wants to debate process.”
“When the movement needs unity, especially at the biggest moments, Massie’s willing to vote with Democrats.”
“When conservatives are fighting the most radical left in American history, too often Massie’s instinct is to throw elbows at fellow Republicans instead of the people who are destroying our country or want to destroy our country.”
“Understand that in the middle of a fight, you don't weaken your own side, you advance to the objective. And that's what Ed Gallrein understands.”
Please repost this for me👇🏽I am going to go full force again with helping veterans…last time I raised $8M. Step aside and watch this next push🇺🇸💪🏽Unstoppable👇🏽
EPA Knew. EPA Waited. EPA Is Still Dragging Its Feet on Leaded Avgas. @EPA Read our latest blog article about how the EPA has been dragging their feet on leaded aviation gas.

Nothing infuriates an uninformed Congressional Dem more than when they realize they voluntarily triggered a debate with someone who actually knows what they are talking about, reads federal statute and adheres to Supreme Court precedent. Today’s self-implosion by @rosadelauro was quite remarkable to witness. Without apology or regret, I will always adhere to the best available reading of federal statute pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright.
Wait… what?!
We got lead out of gas, paint, and just about everything else decades ago, and somehow it’s still in airplane fuel?
Not new. Not breaking. Just finally getting attention.
The U.S. @EPA Environmental Protection Agency confirmed the risk. @FAANews The Federal Aviation Administration says the transition is coming.
But here we are, 2026, and still breathing it.
People are waking up. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Why Aircraft Noise Is More Than Just an Annoyance
Many people assume aircraft noise is simply an inconvenience, but research increasingly shows it is a real public health issue. Studies have linked long-term aircraft noise exposure to stress, sleep disruption, and cardiovascular problems.
When aircraft repeatedly fly over residential neighborhoods, the body responds with stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. Over time, this chronic stress can contribute to serious health problems. Research has even found increased risks of hypertension among people exposed to sustained aircraft noise above certain thresholds.
Communities deserve meaningful protections from these impacts. Aviation growth should not come at the expense of residents’ health and quality of life.

BREAKING: "While health care fraud might be President Trump's shiny new political talking point, California DOJ has been going after health care fraud since 1979. For decades."
"Trump is late to the party." - Rob Bonta, California Attorney General
At Reid-Hillview Airport and San Martin Airport, the county has stopped selling 100LL leaded aviation fuel entirely.
Instead they now offer UL94 and G100UL unleaded aviation fuels.
That means piston aircraft operating from those airports are no longer burning leaded fuel over nearby communities.
For years, piston-engine aircraft using 100LL avgas have remained one of the largest remaining sources of airborne lead emissions in the United States. Communities around airports have been raising concerns about the health impacts, especially for children.
Santa Clara County decided to move in a different direction.
No leaded avgas.
Only unleaded alternatives.
It shows that change is possible when local governments decide public health matters.
Something worth paying attention to as more communities start asking the same question: why are we still using leaded aviation fuel in 2026? #airport #airplane #Countygovernment #AirportImpact
If you live in @jocogov@CityofOlatheKS@opcares@GardnerKS_News DM Me
Most people believe lead was removed from gasoline decades ago.
It was.
Except for the fuel used in piston aircraft.
Right now in Johnson County, aircraft using leaded aviation fuel repeatedly circle over the same residential neighborhoods while training.
The economic benefits of the airports are spread across the entire county.
The cumulative noise and lead exposure are concentrated on the residents who live underneath the training loops.
That is not a fair balance.
Residents are not asking for airports to disappear. Airports are important infrastructure.
What people are asking for is simple.
Basic consideration for the communities underneath the flight paths.
Use less densely populated areas for repetitive training patterns.
Move the loops away from neighborhoods.
Be transparent about the presence of lead in aviation fuel.
Just because something is allowed does not mean it should happen without thought for the people living below.
Good neighbors think about the impact they have on others.
Right now, that conversation is long overdue in Johnson County.
