Multi-trait genomic selection can increase selection accuracy for deoxynivalenol accumulation resulting from fusarium head blight in wheat https://t.co/igX0bdNm7k #wheat#plantbreeding
Hi everyone!
Today we are happy to introduce @JRutkoski as one of our panelists. Jessica is a small grains breeder and a quantitative geneticist. She received her BS in Genetics from the @UWMadison in 2009 and the PhD from @Cornell under the direction of Mark Sorrells in 2014.
'New cycle, same old mistakes? Overlapping vs. discrete generations in long-term recurrent selection' https://t.co/BGhay3BBQo I can't help but feel proud of this work. Dr. Marlee Labroo rocked it. #plantbreeding
Public winter #wheat breeders are winning the fight against scab thanks to the steady progress of #plantbreeding over 20 years. Read more here: https://t.co/Hz0JIXbKTD @USWBSI@rupeshgaire Let’s keep this up!
Our Small Grains team at UIUC #wheat#oats (https://t.co/ezQjNJ47ze) is looking for a #PlantBreeding technician, for more info see https://t.co/mGwCwHoUud

My PhD research published. We characterized the soft red winter wheat population developed at Purdue University that was under selection for winter hardiness, disease resistance and end-use quality. GWAS for agronomic performance is reported. https://t.co/WBdDf9PfXq
