I don’t think the world is prepared for the tidal wave of technological change that’s about to hit over the next handful of years.

It feels equivalent to the early days of the internet - there are huge opportunities practically everywhere you look.

Companies are being started right now that are going to transform entire industries over the next decade.

What’s your answer going to be when your grandkids ask you - “What were you working on when AI was first invented?”

“I took a safe, well-paid job at Goldman Sachs or McKinsey while the world was being rebuilt around me.”

Or are you going to help create the future?

Reasons WhatsApp will be the next big app platform:

1. Penetration: >3b users
2. Frictionless: no login needed
3. Asynchronous: no lost info, interaction by text
4. AI: personalised bots

Booking hotels or rearranging flights on WhatsApp is a novelty, in 10y it will be the norm.

I often hear of founders shutting down their company after a year or so of trying, so I don't know who needs to hear this but: it takes anywhere between 18-36 months to see *material* product market fit on a new product.

Whether your are starting from scratch or you are launching a new product at an established company, it still takes the same amount of time.

The high barrier to entry when launching a new product is not building the thing, it is the ability to be willing to grind through a pit of sorrow that can last 3 years with obsession, intensity and continuous iterations.
