We should not be forced into getting takeaway just because somebody wants to take their dog out with them for the evening!

@bbclaurak It's all very well having ambitions for bus services to be as good elsewhere as in London, but small towns need a cheaper better rail service 1st - weekend engineering works, high fares & no late trains home mean musicians like me have to drive everywhere. No option!

@RNveteranfox @aliciakearns Actually yes we do, there are many musicians who would love to work locally rather than travelling elsewhere & amateur orchestras who just don't fit in our biggest venue Oakham Chapel. Not a case of either or, let us bring money to the area rather than travelling elsewhere

Is it just me that finds it extraordinary the #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2024 coincides with SATs tests for our 10&11 year olds? As I always try to remind my young violin students, the tests are for your teachers not you- to test how well they've been teaching you! Stay relaxed x

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama told its staff today that it is axeing its junior department at the end of this term. Almost 200 children study there on saturdays. That will all stop in July. This is not rich kids playing expensive instruments. One of them texted...
