This is very interesting. Coinbase seems to have lowered their token spend ($$) to about half, by
1) routing to cheap inference like GLM 5.2 and Kimi 2.7 that are still pretty performant
2) Smart routing + caching
They still use the same tokens as before. Start of a trend?
@theo Fair enough, your issue with them was about the changes in their handling of the Claude TOS / agents SDK billing. Not the actual models right ?

I can't help but feel personally burned by the Claude Code changes announced today.
We put so much work into wrapping the (atrocious) Claude Agent SDK in T3 Code. It was the ONLY path they supported, so we made it work. It was hell.
Now our users are getting their rate limits cut by 40x, despite us doing everything right.
I listened to the Claude Code team. I had my issues with their direction, but I trusted them and took them at their word.
I will never make that mistake again.
Until we see significant change, it is safe to assume any statement from an Anthropic employee is a lie on a timer.
The rug will be pulled, no matter how many promises are made beforehand.
Tucker Carlson interviews a British doctor who worked in Gaza.
"Four young teenage boys were brought in, all of whom who'd been shot in the testicles."
just launched: @mobbin mcp 💛
your AI agents can now search 600,000+ real app screens. paywalls, onboarding, checkout, permissions — from apps that already shipped.
ai tools can write code. they just don't know what good looks like. now they do.

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: https://t.co/aMMHId49OO
Today, we launched browser use inside Codex to further close the build & verify loop for local development!
Now, you can ask Codex to build your front end, and test it like a user would by clicking through the app.
Codex sees everything a user sees through vision & checks the network/console logs to help debug & fix any issues that it finds.
This change brings us closer to fully autonomous coding agents that delivers high quality and tested changes.
Watch Codex test my app in the browser, catch & fix a real bug, and doing that loop again with a brand new feature.

Kirodex = @kirodotdev + @OpenAI Codex.
Has been an amazing learning experience, and now kirodex is full fully built with kirodex.
Kirodex: What if @kirodotdev and @codexco had a baby?
I've been using Kiro CLI daily and honestly, it's fun. But juggling multiple terminals across multiple projects gets old fast. So I'm building the thing I actually want to use:

@eibrahim@thdxr I did same, I found Tauri a joy. There are some layout gifts sometimes but performance wise it's perfect. Need to dig into this.
The small bundle was a win too.

What are vendors that offer scanning of PRs or repos to protect against malicious dependencies?
I know of Sonar (Advanced Security), Socket .dev, JFrog. What else do you know of or use and what does it do?
(At some point, you want more than just pinning an old package version)
@WHOOP just filed a lawsuit against us.
A $10B company with 800+ employees is scared of us, a 20-person team making health tracking accessible to all.
Rather than focusing on product and innovation, Whoop has decided to use its newly raised capital on lawfare.
In this video, I share our side of the story, explain why their claims are baseless, and why we believe fighting back is the right thing to do.
