Under Mangaluru Smart city project I had initiated this bridge across Gurpur river during 2023-24. Work is under progress and by Jan 2027 this bridge will be completed.

Once completed this bridge will provide quick access for the Mangalureans to the Tannerbavi beach and reduce travel distance to Mangaluru city for the residents of the Tanneerbavi Bengre.

This bridge has a span of 100 meters without supporting pillars. It is one of the longest span bridges in the country.

Thannirbavi beach development into a Blue Flag beach under the Mangaluru Smart City. The work has been completed and handed over to the Tourism Department.

Connecting Sultan Batery to Thannirbavi with a bridge over the Gurupur river of Mangaluru has been a long pending demand of the local fishermen community. This will significantly reduce the distance from the city to Thannirbavi.

Nethravati river front has been inaccessible to the people of Mangalore. Under the Mangalore Smart City works we have developed the waterfront into a promenade. Faced lot of hurdles including litigation. Finally, 650 meters of the promenade is ready to be opened for public use.
