Strongly Condemn the Firing Incident at Girls Degree College, Nushki, Leaving 3 Females Injured

The firing incident at Girls Degree College, Nushki, Balochistan, is highly concerning, leaving three students seriously injured. The targeting of educational institutions is once again being carried out with full force, which is questionable. Students, whether female or male, are in a state of uncertainty about their safety and security. Previously, teachers and professors were targeted, and now students are being targeted, which is seriously intimidating the educational environment. As we believe, quality-based education is only possible in a safe and friendly environment where students can enjoy knowledge and education without fear and uncertainty.

The recent rise in incidents at schools and other educational institutions is not only condemnable but represents the worst form of violent crime with impunity. The security measures in educational institutions, including the safety of teachers, professors, and students, are highly unchecked, causing a significant blow to literacy in Balochistan.

We denounce such violence, including the recent targeting of female students at Nushki Girls Degree College, and ask the concerned authorities to take immediate action to make sure justice is done for those who suffer and those who are behind this.

Once again, The occupying Pakistani security forces attacked the civilian population and killed labourers in Cher Kunchati area of Dasht, Kech by drone strike. The drone strike killed one labourer on the spot while injuring six others.
