We just wish @itmsug & @MoWT_Uganda would make the number plate replacement process easier and cheaper (lower cost), there it won't be profitable for the thieves and maybe maybe the theft would stop. Otherwise @PoliceUg @CID1_UG haven't offered much help to Ugandans on this issue

In a space of 12 months. I've had my car number plates stolen in Nkokonjeru, Mbarara twice... As is the norm they leave behind active phone numbers, they are bold to compound interest every passing day. My insurer is not compensating either. Help @PoliceUg @912CroozeFM @AKasingye

They disconnected me the very day they read the bill for April without previous bal.

It left me thinking that they are after increasing revenue thru reconnection fees

They haven't read May yet but I won't be surprised if they do it again.

@mkainerugaba But why is it so difficult to track number plates thieves, the one using this number 0765583167 is currently terrorizing Mbarara and surroundings.

They steal number plates, ask for ransom and keep asking for transport to bring them back.

@PoliceUg you need to do something about number plates theft, thieves even leave their number, now like this number is for a number plate thief 0765583167 @mtnug.

@MoWT_Uganda, you can simplify and easen the replacement process.

Otherwise, it seems the thieves are backed up.

Several months ago, my vehicle number plate was stolen. As usual, the thief left a note with a cell number where to send money which I can not do. Since then, I have tried to replace the number plate but its been quite a difficult process.. @MoWT_Uganda @momocherise @PoliceUg

@pariopacton41 @nwscug @NWSCMD How someone on ground can cut off water & their customer care just maintains that & yet they have clear records showing no non-payments but insist on you paying reconnection fee shows some wild motive.

They are at liberty of putting any readings they wish

Bill was read on 24th April with disconnection that very day, for not clearing it.

Meanwhile, that's happening without any previous balances, is this a strategy to raise money from reconnection fee

For May's bill, let them knock at the door and we pay, *not disconnecting after reading the metre*
