@alextatem Similar stack + went vegan a few years ago. LDL in the 12 to 28 range and ApoB < 35 which is great. However, T on the low end for my age. Is there any causal relationship between low LDL and low T?

@bryan_johnson Started doing this 2 years ago when I switched to a whole food plant based diet. Unlimited all you can eat as long as it's in its natural form. Fruits and vegetables. No juices / smoothies or processed food. I eat like 6 times a day and still lost 40lbs. Feel great.

@28delayslater I pre ordered day one and a lot of people I knew did too. At the end of the day it flopped because the cost. I would buy one immediately if the AWD dropped to 50k. It’s that simple.

What are we doing about what happens after DOGE finishes their work? From what I've seen, the government just throws crazy amounts of money on contractors who come in and build one system to some set of requirements in a waterfall style for some non technical leader who has no idea what they've done architecturally or technically. They then think systems like these can simply be picked up by another contractor to maintain who has no idea of the original architecture of the first and does a bunch of shoddy work and bolt on stuff that only meets the new requirements. Then you have these yappers who think as long as we spend incredible amounts more that it will get better which is how we end up with billion+ dollar modernization projects that fail over and over.

@herbertong Not opposed at all. Linda does a great job at X. Gwynne while not CEO of SpaceX does a great job running day to day ops at SpaceX. Someone to take care of the day to day stuff at Tesla while Elon still in charge of long term vision / solving the hard stuff makes sense.

@chamath Adopt a plant based diet. Ask your friend @friedberg what his cholesterol is and if he takes a statin. You can reduce your cholesterol, get off a statin, stop unnecessary animal suffering, and reduce green house gases all at once.

Great price. However, I went to these guys for a Tesla Model 3 recently. In no uncertain terms was I told there was a $2000 dealer fee attached to every car they sell. Who knows what other additional fees they have. Walked right out afterward and ordered direct from Tesla. Check their reviews.
