How it doesn't take 5 weeks to copy one strand of DNA I don't know. Imagine if you had to write out your own DNA. There are 3 billion base pairs in one gene 🫣

I have same issue (I have light ADHD, lot of daydreaming - for sleep this is over-active)

Healthy normal brain except my alpha waves are unregulated. So my brain doesn't know how to rest.

Neurofeedback can train it - low risk, no drugs..
