The Human Rights Council of Pakistan strongly condemns the brutal airstrike carried out by the United States in Manab, Iran, which targeted a school and resulted in the martyrdom of innocent schoolgirls along with multiple injuries.
Targeting an educational institution is not only a grave violation of international humanitarian law but also a direct attack on humanity itself. Schools are symbols of hope, learning, and peace — not battlefields. The killing of innocent children under any justification is unacceptable and constitutes a potential war crime.
We hold the United States accountable for this tragic and inhumane act. A country that claims to champion human rights must be held to the same standards it advocates globally. Silence from the international community will only embolden further aggression against civilians.
We call upon the global leadership and human rights institutions, including:

Amnesty International @amnesty
Human Rights Watch @hrw
to immediately initiate an independent and transparent investigation and ensure accountability for those responsible.
