Government speaks about “One Nation, One Rule” and “One Nation, One Scheme” in policy implementation. But Different Rules for Bankers?

For Bankers, even “One Department, One Rule” is not followed.

Several organisations under the same Department @DFS_India have 5-day working week, while bank employees are still waiting..

One Department. Different rules.
One financial sector. Different working conditions.

Fairness is not a favour.
Equal consideration is a matter of Right.

Bankers keep India connected 24×7.

But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.

A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.

The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.

Implement 5-Day Banking now.

Her friend tried parking his bike near a madrasa (like everyone else does for free), but they demanded ₹1000.

A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

Here’s how the Finance Minister tried to CHEAT the middle class today 👇

FM announced in Budget Speech that “no tax for income below 12 lacs”.

But there’s a catch.

If your income is ANYTHING above 12.80 lacs, ALL of it WILL be taxed as under:

0-4 lacs - NIL
4-8 lacs - 5%
8-12 lacs - 10%
12-16 lacs - 15% etc.

The “exempt income” limit has NOT been made 12 lacs. That still remains at 4 lacs.

Great for those who earn 12.80 lac or less per annum.

If you earn a rupee above that, you WILL have to pay tax on ALL of it according to the above slabs.

Therefore, even a small pay hike for anyone earning 12 lac right now will basically be a brutal punishment.
