An important reminder that EVs are a transportation choice that improve the quality of the air that you, your family, and your neighbors breathe. And it's pretty amazing that we can see these improvements in air quality from space!
Electric vehicles are cleaning our air right now. 🚗
For every 200 EVs added to a neighborhood, nitrogen dioxide pollution dropped 1.1%. @sandy_eckel PhD, and Erika Garcia, PhD, MPH @uscpphs used satellite data to track this across CA from 2019-23. https://t.co/0cZhRD9GaJ

Los Angeles Union Station: ankle-high rain boots are a requirement this morning, but otherwise my A-line commute was totally normal -thank you! @metrolosangeles@metrolaalerts
@da12vid Yes, I took the pics as I entered the tunnel below the A-line platform. The tunnel serves many train lines. There is a large team in place working to bail out the water - it is partially working. Flooding has been worse in other years
@da12vid David, these photos were taken at 6:34am this morning in Union Station in Downtown LA. I got no instructions from officials as I had come off local transit (A-line), but heard that folks taking MetroLink trains were routed outside and around the flooding.
