It’s official – I filed to run for the US Senate this afternoon in Topeka! I'm a proud fifth-generation Kansan, I love Kansas, and I love our country. I spent the last few months traveling across our state and listening to families who are struggling to afford the basic necessities - food, healthcare, and a place to live - because of broken policies coming out of Washington.
Kansans want leaders who are willing to work together to solve these hard problems by putting service above self, country before party, and people over politics. I'm ready to be their Senator and a champion for Kansas. Let’s get to work!

In worship this weekend, The Pale Blue Dot. We'll learn about cosmology, the place of earth in our solar system, our solar system in the Milky Way Galaxy, and our galaxy in the entire universe. Carl Sagan, Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Psalm 8 and Isaiah 40 are a part of the message as we contemplate the implications of some of the findings of astronomy for life and faith. Don't miss this weekend!
We give away 100% of our Christmas Eve offering to bring hope to children & families. This year the largest project, receiving a $500,000 grant, is the purchase of a mobile dental clinic operated by Swope Health.
Okay, so picture this: SpaceX just blew up their Starship on purpose! Yep, you read that right. They triggered the Flight Termination System (FTS) after some of the engines unexpectedly shut down during its first test flight. But don't worry, it wasn't some kind of accident. The company did it on purpose to make sure the spacecraft didn't go rogue and start causing chaos on the ground. Plus, they did it in style - the explosion happened over the ocean, far away from any innocent bystanders. And get this - Starship actually made it to an incredible height of 39 km before things started to go wrong. But when it started to tumble and lose altitude, SpaceX knew they had to take action. So they hit the self-destruct button on both the booster and the ship. Boom! Mission accomplished. SpaceX might have lost a spacecraft, but they gained some pretty cool bragging rights.
And here's the best part - SpaceX founder Elon Musk himself took to Twitter to share that they learned a lot from the test flight. In fact, they're already gearing up for the next one, which could take off from South Texas in just one or two months! Of course, the team will need to fix the damage caused by the 33 Raptors force on the launch pad mount first. But hey, that's just part of the journey when you're pushing the boundaries of space exploration. Bring on the next Starship test flight!

#Ukraine: The Ukrainian Air Force has released video showing for the first time ever US-supplied AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles being fired from their MiG-29 jets.
They seem to be fired in pairs from the inboard pylons where R-27 AAM would otherwise be carried.
One of the 🇺🇦 pilots has made a footage of the MiG-29 fighter jets combat operations.
🇺🇦 pilot Ivan dedicates this video to major Yevhen Lysenko, his fallen brother in arms, who heroically died in an aerial fight against the 🇷🇺 invaders on March 9.
It's bedtime in Warsaw. Join me for Vespers on Facebook Live at 7:29 p.m. CT. Today was spent meeting with Polish church leaders and others to see what more US churches can do to support their work caring for Ukrainian refugees. Pic is Res team heading to dinner in Warsaw.
Oleksandr Kosovan, CEO of MacPaw:
Russia invaded our country and has been bombing civilians in acts of unprecedented violence. Still, we're more united than ever, ready to fight for our home.
Ukraine will resist!

@NotesByCoates I can relate. 23 years ago my wife and I separated for a lot of the same reasons. I cleaned up, earned partial custody of my children, and remarried a few years later. The life I have now is way better then the one I thought I wanted before we divorced, for my kids too!
Fun promo our team put together for our new series on The You YOU Were Meant to Be on the Fruit of the Spirit. I'm really excited about this series. This weekend, Love, Joy and Peace! Take a look:
