It's absolutely true. NEET has made MBBS admissions more commercial than ever before. Even a student scoring just 107/ 720 (OBC/SC Category), i.e., just 14.2% in NEET UG, can get admissions to MBBS by paying 30 laks per annum fee. Statement saying NEET WILL BRING IN QUALITY MEDICAL EDUCATION IS PROVING 100% WRONG.

More than 16 suicide attempts by NEET and JEE aspirants were reported from Kota alone in the last 6 months. Nine of them died in the last two months.

DO WE NEED A RIDICULOUS SYSTEM OF ENTRANCE EXAMS FOR ADMISSIONS TO UG PROFESSIONAL COURSES WHICH GIVE TREMENDOUS STRESS ON STUDENTS & ALSO TREMENDOUS FINANCIAL BURDEN TO THE PARENTS ?
It's getting proven again and again that you can't crack these entrance exams with high marks without attending coaching classes.
Requesting the Supreme Court of India to intervene & form a committee (with retired judges and top educationists) to review the current system of admission process and also to bring out reality picture of what's happening.
