Full blown capitalism does not look at a global pandemic, determine that it needs a domestic vaccine manufacturing capacity, and produce and administer 3.5 billion doses primarily through state-organized distribution.

What you are describing as "full blown capitalism" produced outcomes that full blown capitalism, in its actual existing form in countries where it actually operates, has specifically and repeatedly failed to produce.

America has no high-speed rail to speak of.

America has 4% of the world's population and nearly 20% of its prison population.

America has the highest healthcare costs in the world and the worst health outcomes among wealthy nations.

America has bridges rated structurally deficient in every major city.

This is what full blown capitalism actually looks like when it runs a country without a state strong enough to direct it.

What China built is visibly different from that.

Calling it the same thing is not analysis.

It is the refusal to look at what is actually in front of you because looking would require updating a framework you find comfortable.
