Mr Basani Satheesh Kumar (54), one of the prolific sharpshooters I have come across, has taken over as the Deputy Director of MoD's Photo Division recently. BSK took to photography in 1990 and joined MoD/DPR in 1999 and since then served in Lucknow, Secunderabad, Chennai and Delhi. As the Photo Division head, he will now lead a 10-member team, including photographers & support crew. Wishing the magician tonnes of luck in this top assignment.

Mr Sandesh Rokade, head of MoD's Photo Division has hung up his boots after being a shutterbug for 41 years. He served MoD from 1996 and prior to that worked with the Health Ministry, BARC & Indian Post newspaper. He started his career in the film industry way back in 1982. In DPR MoD he undertook several challenging assignments including the #Kargil War, relief ops undertaken by Easter Command & the Nepal earthquake evacuation mission to name a few. Here's wishing Rokade a happy & healthy retired life.
