Let's admit that the government is full of morons. But can all of you tell me how the Indian government can stop people from posting hate against Indians in countries outside India? Also, how does everyone know what the Indian government does and does not do?
I just keep listening to these hot takes about the government can do this or that without any real world knowledge of what a government actually has to work with. Maybe the government already engages a ton of such folks. But I guess it has to come here daily and announce it for everyone else.
Also, what is the diaspora doing? What is their job? Can they go beyond crying victimhood? Can they for a change create a proper fund that actually tracks and deals with these things in their respective countries or everyone will just do the easy thing and outsource all their problems to the government of India?

Meenakshi Goyat suffered a serious leg injury during an Under-23 wrestling competition. She was bedridden for more than 6 months.

Today, she is a two-time National Champion in women's wrestling and an Asian Championships silver medalist (2026).

I am posting this because much of the coverage seems to be focused on Vinesh Phogat's defeat rather than Meenakshi Goyat's achievement.

Vinesh has made India proud many times and deserves full respect for her achievements. But at the same time, it would be unfair if Meenakshi's success is ignored.

Like every athlete who represents the country, Meenakshi also deserves appreciation and support.

Celebrating such performances not only gives credit where it is due but also motivates athletes to continue striving for excellence.

Her name was Leila Seth.

She was born on October 20 1930 in Lucknow. She grew up during the partition years.

She was married at 22 and followed her husband Prem to London while he completed his studies.

She was 27 years old and pregnant when she decided to study law.

She enrolled at the Inns of Court. In 1958 she topped the bar examination, finishing first among all candidates from England and Wales.

A London newspaper ran her photograph with the headline referring to her as “Mother in Law.”

She had given birth months before the exam.

She was the first Indian woman to top the London Bar exam.

She came back to India and built a legal career in Patna for ten years.

In 1978 she became the first woman judge of the Delhi High Court.

In 1991 she became Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, the first woman to hold that position in any High Court in independent India.

She served on the 15th Law Commission of India from 1997 to 2000.

Her work during that period led directly to the Hindu Succession Amendment Act of 2005, which gave Hindu daughters equal rights to ancestral property for the first time in Indian law.

After the Nirbhaya gang rape in December 2012 she was appointed to the Justice JS Verma Committee, which recommended the sweeping changes to sexual assault laws that followed.

Her son is the novelist Vikram Seth.

She died on May 5 2017. She was 86 years old.

She had pledged to donate her organs and her family held no funeral. A prayer meeting was held in her honour instead.

She topped the bar exam in England while pregnant. She became the first woman Chief Justice of an Indian High Court.

She helped give daughters the right to inherit ancestral property. She helped rewrite India’s rape laws.

Most Indians know her son’s book. Almost none know her story.

Her name is Pooja Singhal.

She was born in Dehradun in 1978. At 21 she cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her first attempt, securing All India Rank 10.

She was among the youngest IAS officers of her batch. Her name was entered in the Limca Book of Records.

At her interview, she reportedly pledged she would spend her career working for “the poorest of the poor.”

She was posted to the Jharkhand cadre in 2000 as one of the first IAS officers of the newly formed state.

She rose steadily through the bureaucracy. By 2022 she had become the Mining Secretary of Jharkhand, one of the most powerful positions in a mineral rich state.

On May 6 2022, the Enforcement Directorate raided 18 premises linked to her across Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Delhi and Punjab.

At the Ranchi premises of her chartered accountant Suman Kumar, investigators recovered Rs 17.49 crore in cash.

Banknote counting machines were brought in to count it. The total cash recovery across locations was reported at Rs 19.31 crore.

Pooja Singhal was arrested on May 11 2022.

ED investigators later traced part of the alleged money trail to Khunti district, where she had served as Deputy Commissioner between 2008 and 2011.

The ED alleged that Rs 18.06 crore linked to MGNREGA funds had been embezzled during her tenure.

MGNREGA is the government scheme that guarantees 100 days of paid work every year to rural households.

The poorest of the poor.

The ED also alleged that funds linked to the case were invested in a hospital associated with her husband.

The agency later provisionally attached immovable properties worth Rs 82.77 crore linked to her in Ranchi.

Her bail was rejected by the PMLA court in August 2022.

Rejected again by the Jharkhand High Court in November 2022.

Rejected by the Supreme Court in April 2024.

During proceedings, the Supreme Court described it as an “extraordinary case” and remarked that there was “something seriously wrong.”

She spent 28 months in jail.

On December 7 2024, a special PMLA court granted her bail.

The Jharkhand government revoked her suspension and reinstated her, effective the same date.

The ED opposed her reinstatement. The PMLA court rejected the ED’s plea to bar her from a government posting, stating that it was beyond the court’s jurisdiction.

The investigation and trial are still ongoing.

At 21, she reportedly told the UPSC board she wanted to work for the poorest of the poor.

The funds the ED alleges were embezzled were meant for exactly those people.

Rape victims are often accused of adultery under Sharia law if they report being raped by married Muslim men.

Here is a shocking example:
A 13-year-old girl in Somalia was raped by a married Muslim man. Instead of punishing the rapist, an Islamic Sharia court sentenced the little girl to death. The Muslim rapist accused her of “seducing” him by appearing in public, and the court agreed — convicting her of adultery.

Hundreds of Muslim men gathered to stone her to death as an offering to Allah.

They laughed, cheered and shouted “Allahu Akbar” as she screamed in agony until her last breath. Not one man stepped forward to save the 13-year-old rape victim.

Everyone in the village heard her cries for help before the execution. Instead of intervening, they tied her hands behind her back and chained her feet. The local imam directed the men to dig a hole and bury her up to her waist so she could not move or dodge the stones aimed at her head.

For hours before and during the stoning she begged for mercy, looking toward her neighbors, her father, and every Muslim man taking part. Until her final breath she cried out, but no one rescued her. Of the hundreds of men present, none showed compassion.

The participants gladly joined this Islamic act of worship, ignoring her pleas and rejoicing with “Allahu Akbar” while brutally killing her.

This is not an isolated barbaric act.
This is Sharia law in practice — where the victim is punished and the rapist protected if he is married.
Not all cultures are equal.
Some protect the innocent.

Islam punishes the raped girl and calls it justice.
The West keeps importing this ideology while pretending it is compatible with our values.
It is not.

Their names were Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.

They were from Madhya Pradesh. They worked in Pune.

On the night of May 19 2024 they were riding a motorcycle in Kalyani Nagar when a Porsche Taycan hit them at high speed. Both died.

The driver was 17 years old. His name was Vedant Agarwal. His father Vishal Agarwal is one of Pune’s wealthiest builders.

He had spent the evening at a restaurant in Koregaon Park celebrating his Class 12 board exam results.

The restaurant served the group of minors alcohol until midnight. He paid Rs 48,000 for the drinks using his grandfather’s credit card.

He was drunk when he got behind the wheel of an unregistered Porsche worth over Rs 2.4 crore.

The initial order from a juvenile court asked him to write a 300 word essay on road accidents.

The country was furious.

His father Vishal Agarwal was arrested for attempting to obstruct justice.

His grandfather and two doctors were arrested for allegedly attempting to swap the juvenile’s blood sample at a hospital to conceal evidence of alcohol consumption.

The restaurant that served alcohol to minors was investigated. Police officers who handled the initial case were suspended.

The juvenile was eventually sent to a remand home.

Vishal Agarwal spent 22 months in jail before the Supreme Court granted him bail in March 2026.

Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta were cremated in Madhya Pradesh.

Their families are still waiting for the trial to conclude.

A 17 year old in an unregistered luxury car killed two working people on a night out.

His family spent months trying to make it go away.
