⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#Animal is a blockbuster. No two ways about it. People going there with a latent intent to judge the film and its characters on rational or moral grounds will come out of theatres badly wounded. They were warned many times over before the theatrical release. Simply put now, they can skip the film or go fuck themselves. The message from @imvangasandeep from the very first teaser has been loud & clear. Kudos to him for firmly holding that fort.

Now coming to the strongest proposition of the film. It is neither the script, nor the action or the protagonist. It's the character of #RanvijaySinghBalbir. A character that is so convoluted yet consistent with his audacity and vulnerability alike. The range of raw emotions at display are so brutal and unapologetic that only a genius could have imagined those while writing and would take no less than a wizard to pull it off on screen. Yet #RanbirKapoor successfully pulls off an unprecedented magic-trick there. Shines like the brightest star in the galaxy right now. Supported by the rest of the cast who are brilliant yet irrelevant in this bloody race to rage.

Its not a film made to please the crowd. Its a film made with disdain towards the audience that ends up in theatres on a soul-searching escapade. It's also a film that is loaded with an array of emotions yet exposes your hypocrisy when you choose one over the other.

Try to grasp the psyche of that protective kid & his obsession for his father in the first 20 minutes of the film. Now for the remaining 3 hours, don't try to mindlessly map everything on a reality that lies outside your theatre and you'll come out of it entertained, perhaps equally amazed. It's a superb piece of art crafted with brilliance intended to be consumed liked that. Period.!!

PS: Yeah its a lawless land. Now go shoot yourself in the head with the gun that you acquired when you jerked off to John Wick.
