MSU in the champions classic:
-quickly down 17 points after unforced turnovers
-1 player gets hot, MSU cuts deficit to 4 @ half
-2H is a repeat of the turnovers + they can't score
-other team's best freshman scores 25+
-MSU closes gap to 6 with 2 mins left, but still loses

Imma throw this out there like a flash bang and run away…
If Detroit can’t come to agreement with Duren, getting a stretch 5 in Turner and then go trade for a starting 4?
The fact anyone ever thought Kawhi would sign an extension anywhere other than in LA is hilarious 😂 dude won a ship in Toronto and could have ran it back but chose to leave and go home
Much of today’s story focuses on Detroit, where sources say any possible Pistons pursuit of Kawhi Leonard has been slowed by the fact the Clippers’ All-NBA forward would not sign an extension with Detroit.

@overthinkingNBA Cool analysis. I just struggle to understand why like Ebuka Okorie is a B and not an A for the other analysts. I don't get it. He fills precisely what the Pistons need, is incredibly talented, might be a steal, etc, etc. What should Detroit have done instead?
I think the caveat to this is every team other than the bucks had 2 number 1 options. At the very least a 1A and 1B.
Nuggs: Jokic & Murray
Thunder: Shai & JWill
Celtics: Tatum & Brown
Warriors: Steph and Klay
I agree with your premise though
When the Nuggets traded for Aaron Gordon, did Nuggets fans complain that they didn’t trade for a superstar
When the Thunder traded for Caruso and signed Hartenstein, did Thunder fans complain that they didn’t get a superstar
When Boston/Milwaukee traded for Jrue Holiday did Boston/Milwaukee fans complain they didn’t trade for a superstar
When Golden State traded for Andrew Wiggins, did Warriors fans complain they didn’t trade for a superstar

Two days ago, Spencer Pratt held a cookout at Jim Gilliam Park in the Jungles. A week earlier, Rolling 60s territory. Politicians avoid these neighborhoods, scared of the anger from decades of neglect.
Spencer showed up anyway. Broke bread. Listened.
This is a new Los Angeles.
She's averaging 22.5 PPG (that's #3 in the WNBA).
She's averaging 8.5 APG (that's #1 in the WNBA).
her splits are 41/35/97.
She is also one of 6 guards in the entire league that is averaging a block and a steal per game.
She's shooting 63% at the rim.
Improved her dribble.
Two realistic trade-ups centered around Ron Holland and the 21st pick that would send Yaxel Lendeborg to Detroit. 👀
1. Trade up with the Mavericks.
Pistons receive: Klay Thompson, 2026 9th pick
Mavs receive: Ron Holland, $8.7 million trade exception (Schroder TPE), 2026 21st pick, 2028 protected 1st round pick.
- Pistons sending two 1sts may seem like a lot in these deals, but both are likely in the 20s. Sending out a protected future 1st is necessary if you think Yaxel is a missing piece to this core reaching the finals. Adding an aging HOF shooter helps with shooting woes. Yaxel ideally fits the roster much better than Ron and gives Tobias insurance.
- Mavericks prioritize athleticism/defense with a young upside prospect with Flagg. Plus they add an additional 1st rounder and relieve around 8 million in cap space sending out Klay. Would they really find a better prospect than Ron Holland at 9 while also passing up the chance to add another first-round pick?
2. Trade up with the Bucks.
Pistons receive: AJ Green, 2026 10th pick
Bucks receive: Ron Holland, Marcus Sasser, 21st pick, and 2028 protected 1st round pick.
- Pistons take advantage of a pending rebuild, add a much needed sniper for Cade to go along with Yax's immediate fit. Huge needs being filled – shooting, PF depth and better fitting roster.
- Bucks land a 21 year old, former #5 pick to continue to develop. They desperately need draft capital and obtaining extra 1st rounders that doesn't include a Giannis trade should be a goal for Milwaukee.
