Something I love extra with the #Clojure culture is the embracing of libraries over frameworks. I get to be responsible and in charge of the architecture. Replicant is such a wonderful example of this. Even if it refuses to help me go non-functional. 😂
“If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude more than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels nor your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains rest lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”

"Electric Clojure v3: Differential Dataflow for UI"
Yes, this is a virtual event! Come join us on Tuesday, August 20 where I'll be presenting the first live examples of Electric v3, demonstrating how Electric's new differential semantics reveal and align with the deep computational structure of a user interface.

Klimautvalget presenterte utredningen sin for noen uker siden, hvor de har en del perspektiver på klimapolitikken frem til 2050. Rapporten har sine verdier, men svakhetene er dessverre mye tydeligere.

I don’t really get it when people tell me ‘Life is short’. I always respond with ‘Life feels pretty darn long to me’. I found this quote insightful from @TheEconomist
Bike is one of my most favorite Mac apps recently. Over the past few months, @jessegrosjean has been adding various useful features, such as Shortcuts support and the row types, while still maintaining a very good user experience.
Another video about the Meyvn polyglot REPL environment. This time we look at a real-world code example, BrickSort, with two reference implementations courtesy of the open source library The Algorithms.

@CarnunMP this Clojure’s core #1 indispensable value prop, it doesn’t try to pretend there is a healthy relationship between the application and the platform, because if you want your system to scale and operate under real world load, the platform is essential complexity
