We closed our first deal with Grok @bot this week ๐
My business has a very traditional sales cycle that often takes months to cultivate and close. We pointed Grok Bot at our tools and it surfaced past prospects/customers for my AEโs to reach out to. Two weeks in we have our first closed/won deal.
Without Grok Bot we most likely would not have reached out to this past customer. With Grok Bot it pulled this customer from the haystack and surfaced it to my AE who simply reached out, pitched and closed.
Itโs absolutely amazing! Thank you @elonmusk.
Thank you @mattyp for showing us what can be done with Grok Bot.
We've had @salesforce for 15 years, and most of what we know about our customers left with our employees.
The notes are in there. The context usually isn't.
We are finally tipping the scale back in the direction of our business, because of AI. The data we've collected for years has always been our #1 asset, but it's been trapped.
Today it's not ๐
The signals that found our first Grok @bot deal weren't fancy.
How long since we last talked to them.
How big their pipeline was the last time around.
Whether we still had a line to the decision maker.
We've had 10+ years of data in our CRM and never stacked those three together.
What signal would you look for in your own data?
@itsdanalex Dan, why do you think it's important to label AI responses? What if this response was assisted with an AI? Not that I need help writing a basic reply, but what if I did?
I'm in support of original content that is misleading or an outright fabrication of the truth being tagged.
@weaverwork@bot@salesforce@slack@Google Past customers who went quiet, past prospects who went quiet, closed lost deals who went quiet. Lots of opptys in that data.
A lot of you saved my Grok @bot deal post, so here's exactly how we set it up.
We connected the tools we already use: @Salesforce, @Slack, @Google Workspace, data enrichment, and PSA. We told it the signals we care about, like past customers who went quiet and prospects who never closed.
Every morning my AE's get a message in Slack with a list of Accounts to follow up with. We take it one step further and have Grok Bot draft an email with context from our tools.
For the deal we closed, my AE reached out, pitched and closed.
What's amazing is none of this was new data. The deal was already sitting in our CRM. We just never would have found it.
What would you point it at first?
@ge0xrge Mark, which of these are you seeing actually change how teams work day to day vs just raising on the trend? That's the part I keep trying to figure out.
@VoltDispatch Unpredictable is the right word. We keep a human approving anything that goes out to a customer. Fast drafts, slow sends. Curious whether that becomes the norm.
@FINTECHTVglobal@alaxic@frame_payments@RemyBlaireNews Curious how this plays out for B2B too. We use agents to surface accounts and draft outreach, but a human still hits send. Feels like that last approval step is what keeps the liability question simple, at least for now.
@KDHabibi That matches what I'm seeing. Our first deal came from data already sitting in our CRM for years. The agent didn't do anything new, it just did the boring cross-checking nobody had time for. Maybe the expanded TAM is all the work humans never got around to?
@mikebeckhamsm Mike that's cool. I agree on the fun around weddings and kids. Something that makes my heart smile is seeing our team buy their first home.
