Now the GOP has put forth a bill to abolish the Dept of Education. They say it's to apportion tasks to the States.
We all know that what they say is politicized. Why do I think they want to abolish the Dept of Education?
I think it's about RW control, dumbing people down, and - where possible - adding religious indoctrination.
All of which increases their base.
That's my take. Call it an educated guess.
