This came up in my photo memories today and it reminded me of David. He absolutely loved the FF5 song I sent him called “Cray Button.” RIP to one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met on social media.

Many thanks to all who shared, helped, sent flowers, or prayed for the family. My Nephew's funeral reflected his broad impact on so many that they couldn't fit everybody in at the church. A good kid who led a good life.

Thank you Fren for your kind words.
I think a lot about the online frens who are no longer with us, and I'm sure you do too.
Sometimes we learn from a family member that they're gone; sometimes they just stop posting and we're left to wonder if they just got tired of the online environment or if they've been called back Home.
@practicetheory 's passing is especially poignant because of the unspeakably brutal manner in which he was taken from us but also because he was such a ray of sunshine for everyone he interacted with. He was uproariously funny and very kind and gracious.
He deserved far better than the end he was forced to take and that makes his end so very painful for everyone who knew him at all.
I can hardly imagine the cataclysmic devastation that his wonderful wife @sealystar and his son have been forced to endure...it's certainly beyond my experience and I am awestruck by their ability to carry on after such a horrific event. I hope that they are doing as well as can be expected and that one day they may be able to find some small measure of peace.
In Memoriam
On the night of February 23, 2014, excellent Twitter Friend @practicetheory was murdered for his cell phone by a street feral in Seattle.
He left behind his son and his loving wife of 22 years, @sealystar
Cherish your online friends. ❤️✝️🙏

This is an 8th grade exam from 1912.
No calculating how many watermelons Stacey can fit in her station wagon. It's all about things like interest payments and construction problems.
Real-world stuff. Because 8th grade education was supposed to be adequate prep for real life.
