I love zero-party data too, and we collect it. But the problem with a lot of zero-party strategies is that they require staff time to interpret and then operationalize.
Collecting better data can quickly make you more money, without requiring more of your time.
I don't give a fish about attribution - at least not in and of itself.
I do care a lot about helping brands improve their #ROAS by up to 25% by sending better 1st-party data to their ads platforms.
That's why #attribution tracking matters. That's why 1st-party data matters.
