Value investors are used to buying cigar buts as long as the present value of cash flows is worth it. On average, buying at PE of 2 works out well.

Coming from tradfi I'm also always pondering the equity side, too. @lurkaroundfind likes LQTY a lot & it doesn't seem expensive (1bn BOLD as first step is wonderful and certainly creates a floor), but I'm thinking about R/R pool vs LQTY

What's your ambition with BOLD?

Should a decentralized, immutable, unfreezable stablecoin grow to 10bn BOLD?

Currently prefer the curve pool itself over LQTY bc I haven't grasped it yet.

@bjnpck For LQTY at $100mn mcap to trade at a PE of 10 or 10% yield, $10mn earnings is needed, over which voters freely decide & ultimately could decide to stream this to themselves, but if 25% of the protocol goes to LQTY, in this scenario $800mn in BOLD is needed at 5% interest. (1/2)

Current average psyche only buys BTC because unconsciously it still likes to lose everything after all, after thousands of years of inflation soul damage.
