Yesterday we were mobilised, alongside @Basingstoke_01, to a 🔥 in the open at a residential address in Silchester. This was a grassfire, approx 74m x 50m, which started from a bonfire. Despite the recent rain, the ground is very dry please avoid lighting bonfires. #Heatwave2022

Firefighters from @Hants_Fire and @DWFireRescue are working hard in sweltering conditions to keep a blaze at #Ringwood Forest under control. 🚒

The fire service says it spans roughly five hectares and crews expect to be there for another couple of days.
