@john_mcguirk It’s also a worry that most new builds depend on electricity for heat too…I know so many without electricity now and wish they had a fire to light to keep themselves and kids warm…it’s a conundrum but all eggs in one basket is not ideal…
@cavancoco It’s the road into Cornadarragh, can’t get past house with the post code H14 TY02. There’s no electricity, mobile or WiFi so no way of contacting any of the houses in there.
Why is this not headline news, week in, week out, until it’s addressed. This is at the root of so many of our challenges in Ireland right now. Most of the homes being built are going to investment funds…

@conor_pope We recycled anyway, now I have to drive to do it. Not so green. If the bottle or can is even slightly damaged the machine won’t take them, so you don’t get your deposit back…bit if a scam. So many just dump the rejects rather than take them home. Also machines regularly full…
