Corporate gathering AND small groups serve distinct but important purposes.

@Evita_Vresnoc @AdamPage85 Some are taking a free vacation and aren’t even on the property. Some are uninformed and abstain from votes when they don’t know enough to vote. A few may have lost their ballots, ran to the restroom, etc. Lots others are in the exhibit hall or meeting a friend for coffee.

I really appreciate that @bartbarber tries to help messengers accomplish what they are intending, but within proper polity/procedure. It’s helpful and educates all messengers on our procedures.

@kateshellnutt (2/2) But yeah the social media pastor shouldn’t be called a pastor. It’s not AS troublesome if they were actually qualified to pastor, but if they aren’t pastoring then why give the title? It breeds confusion.

@kateshellnutt They don’t have to be Senior pastors to be a pastor, but they should actually be pastoring. Many other staff members might actually pastor (Associate or Youth or Music pastor may also participate in overseeing the overall vision/direction of the church). (1/2)

@Pasquat2 My pastor husband will be on mission, so our 8 year old son and I are coming to vote for the Law Amendment! I’ve never come without my husband before, but I so agree with your wife!

If we won’t stand on the Bible, why are we even here it all?

@PiggTimothy Most churches I have been in publish the entire budget, along with all expenditures, in each business meeting’s finance report. All in attendance get a copy and you can stop by the office and pick one up if you missed. There’s no reason to keep any of it secret. 🤷‍♀️ 🤔
