One week to #ESMO25. An unprecedented ESMO conference. Seven positive press releases, anticipating the expansion of T-DXd to the curative setting, two Trop2 ADCs reaching first-line mTNBC, 2 novel ET-based combos, adjuvant CDK4/6i improving OS. See you in Berlin! #ESMOAmbassadors
Honored to present our data on neoadjuvant nivolumab and nivolumab/ipilimumab in potentially resectable diffuse pleural mesothelioma (DPM) at #WCLC25. @IASLC
We evaluated perioperative nivo and nivo/ipi in epithelioid or biphasic DPM deemed resectable by multi-D assessment. 1/7

This study found that women with breast cancer who used vaginal estrogen therapy (vaginal creams or vaginal tablets), compared with no hormone replacement therapy use, did not appear to have an increased risk of early breast cancer-specific mortality. https://t.co/gkIRPQrcMC

2023 was an outstanding year for breast cancer research
As we start wrapping up #SABCS23, we need to think about how to incorporate what we learned in the clinic and future research.
Looking forward to what is yet to come to improve outcomes for our patients!

While the OS difference isn’t huge, it’s so important to highlight that side effects of TDM1 are a WHOLE ‘NOTHER LEVEL compared to the newer ADCs! We have definitely gone in the wrong direction when it comes to QoL!

Reading good review articles can shape ideas, help connecting the dots and understanding what’s coming ahead in science.
Here’s 10 review articles that helped me shape my views on breast oncology and drug development:
The largest study to date (N=1.13M❗️) on the prognostic value of HER2-low expression is out on @JAMAOnc. With an HR 0.98 & overlapping OS curves, HER2-low confirms not to be a relevant predictor of prognosis. Congrats to the authors for this huge analysis!
