@IRCTCofficial Why is that everytime you allot non existent seats in train 17642. This is the 3 rd time senior citizens with confirmed chair car ticket find no place to sit as C1 seats 68 & 69 do not exist. Horrendous!!!
@kadalcippi This post left me in tears!! I can relate n resonate...hats off to single soldiers, they don't need support, motivation, help. They function well and in fact better sans these..
My dad would make me sleep on his stomach in my childhood, cuddle my hair and tell me “Baaga Chaduko Talli.”( Study very well Maa.)
As a middle class girl, I had just education to climb up the social ladder.
This left a deep mark on me.
We are the poorest in my extended family. I knew the only way to succeed was through education.
When I was 22, I would run to catch local mmts trains after my UPSC coaching.
I still remember the emotions. Sometimes the bag would be heavy. On some days I would have my periods.
I would still run with the thought that “I just need to pull off this one year. My life would be settled.” I kept running. Never took a break.
Not qualifying for UPSC was heartbreaking. More so because I could sense my dad being disappointed not to show off in the society but he would think about my trauma.
This was a cycle.
Finally Maa came into my life. Put me on her path. She is directing me to what she envisaged for me. Gave me solace.
My dad is highly respected in my extended family today coz of my achievements. Getting a son in law who is a bureaucrat too elevated him in the society. Remember this was a honest and innocent man who was looked down just because he had little money.
Today I am sharing this so that all you men and women out there belonging to which ever social community and are running continuously holding your breath. Don’t worry. Your effort will be acknowledged.
If not the society, Maa( or the universe if you are an atheist or belonging to any other religion) will be looking out for you. She will give you what you deserve. It will just be a matter of time.
Just do your work with honesty.
And when you emerge successful, don’t look down upon someone on the same path as you. We need not help always. But never trample them.
🙏
