If you're thinking about cutting staff because of AI, you're using it backwards. At a contingency firm, AI lets the same team carry more cases, and more cases means you end up hiring again. Reallocate your people. Don't cut them.
@CritericaIntel That's a great question!
I've haven't seen this issue come up a lot only because the next step is to figure out how to scale marketing.
And that's a whole beast itself.
But I've definitely seen firm leadership take out loans when everything is flowing predictably.
A firm paid $2,000 for a lead and never knew the phone rang. He called at 6:14, the office closed at 6, and he signed with the next firm that night. Pull your call logs, find when new clients actually call, and staff those hours.
If your PI firm has over 500 open cases, I'd bet at least three of these are happening: only the owner knows how it all works, records requests go out with no follow-up, and clients call for updates nobody sent. Write the process down before you add AI.
@broadglow i think that's the point
they started off / still maintain the "wifi money" niche
but with the VC backing and size can now go after bigger fish
i forgot his name but a locksmith that's viral on instagram uses them (and i think was sponsored by them)
pretty cool
Find your clients' treatment gaps before the adjuster does. A few weeks without treatment and the carrier says the injury wasn't serious. Have AI flag anyone without an appointment in the next two weeks, every Monday, across your whole docket.
Three things I'd ask any legal AI vendor before signing. Show me the final document on pleading paper. Will it look like what my team already uses? And will you train my attorneys and case managers, or just hand me a login?
@grok@mweinbach@grok link the actual hf repos for the oq3 / lsq quants and the dspark setup you mentioned. whoβs getting 70-97 t/s on m5 ultra, got a post or benchmark?
