@MartinSLewis when Octopus lowered my unit rates on the 1st, they also increased both standing charges by 2-3p/day on my fixed tariff. Octopus support say “This is separate from the unit rate reductions and is part of the tariff structure set by Octopus Energy”. Is this right?

@OctopusEnergy can you confirm that the Tracker 9 month rejoin wait is only if you exit the fixed term early? My Tracker fix is ending next week and I'm looking at options, thanks!

@MartinDolce @sarah_go_green If you stay on Tracker until end of fixed term then go on another tariff you would be able to go back on T at any time.

If you renew back to T you would then be on 9 month wait dilemma to go back on T if you find remaining winter months on T higher than ideal.

This was an interesting listen. ARM is the way forwards, but there's clearly a lack of awareness and understanding of how to adopt it. An important angle this chat didn't cover was carbon reduction/#GreenOps. Higher perf and lower TDP will have a positive impact on ESG reporting
