Russia is getting a large amount of alumina crucial to military manufacturing from Ireland. This raw material used to make aluminum is unsanctioned, and russia can't make war without it. Europeans, contact your MEPs and ask them to add alumina to the 21st sanctions package.
@ecb The apparent stabilisation of € value is likely to be an artificially induced last gasp before the currency embarks on a road to irrelevance.
Fixed it for you.

Big thanks to @balajis and staff from @coinbase@binance@krakenfx for discussion!
@KurtWagner8 He doesn't seem to have much understanding with the reality of the IT job market. There is just no decent IT company requiring permanent on site working anymore. He will get employees who did not find a better alternative
@AndreasSteno This would imply to apologize for the extra QE becoming QT, inflation ... not very wise to apologize, if I may suggest, politically speaking :-)
@PhillipsPOBrien Not often in Germany but my exp was a real nightmare: trains canceled and delayed, would have missed my flight without taking an (expensive) taxi. Besides, subsidy is for slow/local trains. Fast trains remained very expensive. For ppl who don't have money/a lot of time to waste..
@NLNick1000 @WarInUkraineYet No, it helps saving the Russian economy by limiting the brain drain of young talented people wanting to emigrate. And to some extent, wealthier tourists spending their money in western Europe will either spend it ironically in Russia, or maybe just in the UAE, etc.
@Habimbara @WarInUkraineYet Here is a story. My partner, who is Russian originating from a poor family, came studying in western Europe 10 years ago. She rather supported Putin at this time. But it changed over the years and now has views which are far more against this war than the average western citizen
@JuiceeOranj@badiucao His french is also very approximate and I'd bet he just didn't catch the nuance... which is a bit odd for an ambassador. As brutal as he is, one can appreciate he has the merit to not pretend what China really wants to make of Taiwan and its people
@TheNorthernH @financeplumber @AndreasSteno We are looking at next winter were supposedly the power plants will be back on from maintenance and for sure the rivers won't be too hot
@NLwartracker I've some relatives in Russia and while we could wish these babushkas have been paid some roubles for this show, I'm 100% sure they believe what they are saying - and have not been paid anything to do it. It's as sad as it can be, human mind is so easy to manipulate 😢
