BMRCL's newly-opened Double Decker flyover from Ragigudda to Central Silk Board has brought the traffic mess from Silk Board Junction to the Raghavendra Swamy junction in Jayanagar 5th Block.

With the exit ramp of the flyover leading to the residential areas of Jayanagar & JP Nagar, a severe traffic chokepoint has been created in Jayanagar right up to the Cool Joint Signal in 4th Block.

During today's inspection of the Metro projects in Bengaluru South, instructed officials to take up technical solutions to address this chokepoint, make suitable rampways for vehicles looking to take right to Jayanagar & left to JP Nagar & facilitate the free flow of traffic at this junction.
