New paper out on the internal structure of #lambeosaurine crests. The two genera, #Corythosaurus & #Lambeosaurus, have highly variable nasal passages which would result in differing vocalizations and possibly differing behaviour.

CLUMSY MALE DINOSAURS INJURED FEMALES DURING MATING: Our new paper (Filippo Bertozzo et al. 2025), shows that a common tail injury seen in duckbilled dinosaurs was probably caused by heavy male dinosaurs clumsily crushing the spines of females during mating.

... and just managed to track down the following unpublished photos. It's a shame that such a fine skull was lost to science. CHS later reidentified the skull as that of Triceratops, thinking it was most similar to the @FieldMuseum skull. (2/2)
