Co-authoring with friends is awesome because you’ll be like, “once we finish this short article that ruined our lives we should do a multi volume book series”
We tested 10 behavioral interventions to mitigate #climatechange in 63 countries (N = 59,440)
The interventions’ effectiveness was small, largely limited to nonclimate skeptics, and differed across outcomes:
-Beliefs were strengthened mostly by decreasing psychological distance (by 2.3%)
-Policy support by writing a letter to a future-generation member (2.6%)
-Information sharing by negative emotion induction (12.1%)
-No intervention increased the more effortful behavior—several interventions even backfired by reducing tree planting!

My favorite thing to do at conferences:
Go up to each poster presenter and ask them if anyone has taken a picture of them with their poster yet (and then offer to do it with their phone). A lot of us forget to get a picture, so some people are so grateful 🥹
Come see Sarah (@sgmilliron) and I present our #SPP poster, “Investigating the Effects of Moral Language and Storytelling Format on Judgment of Victims,” today from 6:15-7:45pm at Posvar Hall! Looking forward to sharing our studies! #SPP2023
