A few years back I drove from Mumbai to Udaipur and reached there in around 9 hours

Yesterday my nephew and a friend drove down the same route.

They took 19 HOURS. A part of Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway was closed for repairs and they were stuck in traffic for over 5 hours after Vasai

All Mumbai, Thane roads have bumps allover and people falling over due to this. Unnecessary speedbreakers also another problem.

घोडबंदर घाट भागात रस्ते दुरुस्तीकामांमुळे मुंबई अहमदाबाद मार्गावर दररोज वाहतुक कोंडी होऊ लागली आहे. नागरिकांच्या प्रवासाचा वेळ देखील वाढत आहे. त्यातच आता एक व्हिडीओ व्हायरल होत आहे. पालघर जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री गणेश नाईक यांनीच महामार्गावरील वाहतुक कोंडी टाळण्यासाठी आपल्या ताफ्यासह विरुद्ध दिशेने प्रवास केल्याचे कळते आहे. या घटनेची चित्रफीत आता समाजमाध्यमांवर प्रसारित होऊ लागली आहे. त्यामुळे वाहतुकीचे नियम फक्त सर्वसामान्यांनाच आहेत का असा प्रश्नही निर्माण झाला आहे.

Monday morning your day is screwed thanks to @TMCaTweetAway. Why morning 7-10 roads are truck free and same in evening 6-10?
Pollution, traffic jams, frustrated ppl mostly because of these truks in peak hrs.
