“A little from a lot” has not and will not get us where we want to be. It’s not feasible to think this can work or that it’s sustainable

[Glasswolf @glasswolf54]

Just imagine if all of the approximate 300,000 living @NCState donated just $10 a month @OnePackNIL Do the math.

[sharp @sharpman1017]

@EddieAG_ Missing the last half of the year and being able to rest and feel refreshed could always change things but the common sentiment here in Raleigh is he’s done

Today's Coaching Trivia.

Can you name the 3 current NFL Head Coaches who have also been a College Football Head Coach?

“…the metrics never stop”

[Chris McDonald @mcblimp95]

Do I think Philip Rivers is the best hire for NC State? Nope

Will I support Rivers, if he is hired, just as hard as Doeren? Dern right I will (the metrics never stop).

@RedWhitePodcast The guy looks like the human embodiment of barbecue

[Jackson Williford @fj_williford]

I say this as a naive lifelong State fan: I wholeheartedly believe this program can be something special.

There is no reason this can’t be the premier program in NC and an expanded playoff contender

But we’ve got to have a tremendous sense of urgency in what we do next

[sharp @sharpman1017]

@GMurray84060 @mcblimp95 On to the next, Garrett. On to the next.

[sharp @sharpman1017]

Boo must not have cared much for the metrics.

I’ll have to make sure WPN connects Boo with @mcblimp95 for the coaching search. I’d hate to throw metrics out of the window and mix in some wins.

[sharp @sharpman1017]

Great take

[David @DavidCBets]

Oh my god we fired Doeren

Honestly just speechless. So many ways to look and feel about this after 14 years. Think he deserved better but at the same time not left with much choice. Just a relationship that was ready to end.

Still very grateful for his time here

@GMurray84060 @ear1426 Correct

[sharp @sharpman1017]

Bradly Nadeau has been a trade asset for two years lol

[Ethan @ear1426]

This is gonna catch a lot of flak…

After being sent back down to Chicago (AHL) AGAIN, Bradley Nadeau has officially become a trade asset for the Carolina Hurricanes.

I’m not saying I agree with that.
That’s just the way it feels.

Take it for what you will.

[sharp @sharpman1017]

If this is the deal that got it done I can’t imagine how bad the other offers were

**Breaking News** 🚨 📰
Per sources I can report @NHLJets are trading Hellebuyck to @NJDevils for Daws, Mercer, Command 2 future picks, and another forward. #HockeyX

[sharp @sharpman1017]

@hockeynightdoc Everybody racing to break it and over at ESPN, @emilymkaplan is just waiting for the news to break so she can tweet out what sources are telling her

Two best players of their generation taking a home game to a shootout against a team down 3 forwards and a defenseman… yeah seems like destiny

[Nathan "Grav" Murdock @NathanGraviteh]

I’m gonna say something bold…

Team of destiny?

[sharp @sharpman1017]

Sounds like a guy coping cause his team is interested but can’t put the package together 🤷‍♂️

[EveryDayLeafs @thatssoleafy77]

I look at the Nikishin situation and no team should pay an asset more than the K’Andre Miller trade. Carolina has less leverage than the Rangers had too

Miller got a late 1st a late 2nd and a B prospect

1st,2nd,3rd or equivalent and all picks should be in the back half
