@HariSel57511397 Graduated licensing also makes it pretty slow. I remember once I got my permit I had to drive around for like a year with an adult before you could take the test that let you put a girl in the passenger seat. Had to do almost all my high school dates car-less so it wasn't useful.

@CorpAbsurdity The "skilled trade shortage" is bullshit in a lot of regards but keep in mind that a 0 year apprentice is just a guy who costs you money. Imagine a guy being paid $50 an hour teaching a guy paid $20 how to swing a hammer and you realise why only the boss's son gets that slot.

@kenthecowboy_ At the time it was called intersectionalism and they followed a doctrine of "the personal is political'. The goal was to force you to pick a side and make it to toxic to side against them when you do. Its not hyperstition, it's just that gamers were a disagreeable group.
