Final Upset Watch regular season stats after the Lions✅ and Raiders✅wins took us to 47-48 on the season for underdog winners. That's our best % performance in a decade, and it's 9 winning seasons from 10. We're on to the playoffs!

@alys_key The problem with his speech, imo, was that there were no actual policy changes or tangible methods he proposed to enact this pursuit of wealth? Using the 19th century as evidence that we *can* be a rich nation seems odd, given the world has radically changed. Very 'vibes' based.
I stopped using this twitter account regularly, came back to it, and find my feed is essentially entirely far right Reform talking points and accounts. At some point staying on this platform is essentially opening yourself up to propaganda.
@raphaeldogg What an absurd criticism. I went to school with Bridget, and she is fully entitled to feel that getting to where she is now is an achievement, and to talk about how the Labour party have helped her get there. Your ideal candidate who has no personal ambition does not exist.
@jfwduffield I went to school with Bridget. Whatever your thoughts on her politics, she was/is an incredibly bright human being, who earned every opportunity from the same dirt-poor circumstances as many of us, on merit. music and drama classes... I mean come on 😂
@hawkins_carole@PippaCrerar@Keir_Starmer You're missing the point here Carole, and focusing on a symptom, not a cause. Politicians of all stripes have been conditioned by us, the public, to lie to us about this, or be punished at the ballot box. Looking inward isn't a strong suit, which is why we end up here.
@DPJHodges Dan, congrats, you're writing for a Newspaper that actively leans into this viewpoint. Has it just occurred to you that the right may not always act in good faith? That they may not really be interested in good outcomes?
@OllyMetcalfe Even her rationale that her kid got bullied for being poor at a state school doesn't hold up when she sent the younger kid to a place with more wealth disparity. If you're perpetuating this nonsense, you're off the charts dim.
@OllyMetcalfe This is hilarious because she's claiming Universal Credit. The mental gymnastics to use her as an example of 'sacrifice' when she literally says she refuses to work more because what she lost in UC wouldn't make it worth it is amazing. 1/2
@StevenMeyerUX@RepCasar Because his definition of 'waste' is subjective and based on a total detachment from reality for millions of people. People who buy the government waste line likely don't understand how much of that spending is keeping society functioning
@jonsopel@AllisonPearson@TheNewsAgents It's amazing how many people who haven't understood this post are taking the last line as referring to her refusal to participate in the show, rather than her threats regarding legal action if she perceives they've got something wrong.
